CURRICULUM
At this stage, kids develop rapidly, and Kindergarten aims to ready them for Primary School by advancing their skills in reading, writing, and math. Additionally, play serves as a tool for growth, incorporating music, dance, games, reading, technology, and plenty of outdoor activities.
LANGUAGE & LITERACY
Language and literacy take precedence in our curriculum, with a focus on integrating stories, poems, rhymes, and songs into our daily activities. We encourage preschoolers to engage by listening to readings, recalling familiar tales, grasping alphabet letters, and showing more purpose in their drawing and scribbling endeavors.
NUMERACY
Children engage in activities designed to promote dependable counting, comparison, problem-solving, and measurement skills, nurturing their mathematical abilities. Meaningful real-world experiences are carefully integrated to reinforce children’s comprehension of mathematical principles. A diverse array of resources is provided for each child to investigate and contemplate.
EXPLORATION OF THE WORLD
Children develop their comprehension of the world by inquiring, observing, predicting, experimenting, and interpreting outcomes. Each child actively participates in observing occurrences, investigating natural elements, and contemplating their findings. They are encouraged to devise their own solutions, with teachers serving as guides.
EXPRESSIONS OF
CREATIVITY & AESTHETICS
Our goal is to foster an appreciation for the arts and music among preschoolers. We provide accessible art and music materials for children to explore different aspects. Through these mediums, children can express themselves and experiment with various materials and forms of expression.
MOTOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Children are offered opportunities for outdoor play to engage in daily activities, enhancing their fine motor skills. It’s acknowledged that mastering control, balance, and maintaining good health is vital for children. Within the classroom, creative learning centers are established to encourage learning through daily play, providing hands-on activities across language arts, math, and dramatic play.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We encourage children to explore new activities and express their preferences. In our daily routines, children engage in cooperative play, sharing ideas and taking turns. They consider each other’s suggestions for organizing activities, demonstrating empathy and forming strong relationships with both adults and peers. Ultimately, they enjoy learning through these experiences.
